Warren D. Koop, age 67, of Greenwood, passed away on September 23, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
</p>
<p>
Warren was born in Seymour, IN on July 1, 1953 to Marvin F. and Irene M. (Bode) Koop. He was a 1971 graduate of Seymour High School and a 1975 graduate of Indiana University.
</p>
<p>
In 1974, he married the love of his life, Sue Ann Speckner.
</p>
<p>
Warren worked in chemical sales for Calgon for over 30 years. He was a member and Eucharistic minister for Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church for over 37 years as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus and "That Man Is You" club in Greenwood.
</p>
<p>
He enjoyed playing golf and watching and rooting for The Hoosiers in all IU sports. But most of all, he loved his family. For years he was a coach for youth sports at Greenwood Parks and Recreation and OLG sports. In recent years, he loved watching his grandchildren play sports. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
</p>
<p>
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sue Ann Koop; two sons, Andrew James Koop (Ashley Howell) of Bloomington and Jonathan Koop (Sarah) of Greenwood; one daughter, Abby Michelle Koop, of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Azi, Xander, Jacob and Noah; and one sister, Sharon Meek (Dan) of Columbus, IN.
</p>
<p>
Warren was preceded in death by his parents.
</p>
<p>
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Koop will be held 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 28 at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church 335 South Meridian Street, Greenwood, Indiana. The family will receive guests at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass. Burial will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.

Flowers will be accepted at the church or memorial contributions can be made to The Cancer Research Institute, <a href="http://www.cancerinstitute.org">www.cancerinstitute.org</a> or Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church.
</p>
