Dana Eugene Wood, 59, of Whiteland, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
</p>
<p>
Dana was born on January 26, 1962 in Franklin, Indiana to Mary Jo (Lewis) Wood and the late Robert Emerson Wood.
</p>
<p>
Dana had a passion for auto body work. He was employed at Wood Auto Body for 25 years and always enjoyed spending time in the shop. He loved watching football, especially his favorite team the Indianapolis Colts, and was a legend in Whiteland for his love of mowing grass. Dana was the kindest and most caring person you could ever meet; the world would be much better off with more people like him in it. Dana’s loved ones would like to offer a special thanks to Mike, Pam, Pat and Amy, the Harmon Family, and everyone at Whiteland Auto Supply for their love for Dana.

Dana is survived by his mother, Mary; his siblings, Donna & Brad Ragsdale of Shelbyville, Indiana, Dean Wood of Florida, Doug Wood of Whiteland, Indiana, Danny Wood and David Wood, both of Greenwood, Indiana, and Bobby Wood of Indianapolis, Indiana; his four nephews, David and his wife Mariah, Alan, Bobby, and Jason; his two nieces, Sammy and Jess; several others.

Dana was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
</p>
