Juanita L Scharf passed to her savior, Jesus Christ, on February 27th, 2021 at the age of 95.
</p>
<p>
Juanita was born in Louisville, KY, to George and Zula Lang on April 14, 1925. She was a graduate of Southport High School.
</p>
<p>
Juanita and her husband, Robert, of 53 years were long-term residents of Floyds Knobs, IN.
</p>
<p>
Juanita was employed as a teller with Mutual Trust Bank &amp; Deposit Company in Floyds Knobs for many years. She was an active member of Floyds Knobs Christian Church.
</p>
<p>
She and her husband moved to Franklin in 2002 after the death of their son, Phil. They became residents of Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Community at that time and she has resided there ever since. She became a member of First Presbyterian Church of Franklin and was active in Women’s Bible Study. Juanita loved the Lord and was committed to his service throughout her entire life.

Juanita loved banking work and meeting new people. She served as her Church Treasurer for many years. She loved family activities, gardening, cooking, playing cards and knitting.
</p>
<p>
She is survived by her daughter Jackie (Mark) Mensing, granddaughters Beth Ann Mensing and Lori Ann (Alex) Stanley, nephew Wayne (Vickie) Lang and niece Delores (Alan) Boucher, many cousins and her lifelong best friend, Sylvia Eveslage.
</p>

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, her son Phil and her brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Lois Lang.
</p>
<p>

Friends and family may call at Naville &amp; Seabrook Funeral Home at 1846 E Oak Street, New Albany, IN on Thursday, 3/4/21, between the hours of 11 AM and 1 PM. Funeral services will be held at the same location at 1 PM. Juanita will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Robert, and son, Phil, at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, IN.
