Thomas Walter "Tom" Piepenbrok, 58-year-old Vinita, OK resident and businessman, went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 15, 2021. He was born on September 22, 1962, in Beach Grove, Indiana to Walter Ernst Piepenbrok and Rhoda (Whittymore) Piepenbrok – Johnson.
</p>
<p>
Tom grew up in Indiana, before moving to Oklahoma to attend college. On September 3, 1988, He married the love of his life, Kristi Lynn Brown at the Vinyard Church in Vinita. Tom worked for KAMO Power for a few years, before buying Jim’s Pest Control in 1998.
</p>
<p>
Tom was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, trapping, fishing, and collecting local artifacts. He had made many trips to Africa and had many friends there. Tom never met a stranger and enjoyed talking with his many friends he has made over the years. He was a member of the Alive Church in Vinita.
</p>
<p>
What Tom loved most of all was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, son and brother he will be greatly missed.
</p>
<p>
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Piepenbrok in 1992 and a brother Chris Piepenbrok in 1993.
</p>
<p>
The family includes: his wife Kristi of the home, his mother, Rhoda Johnson and husband Dick of Greenwood, Indiana, three children, Lindsey Piepenbrok, Chad Piepenbrok, Travis Piepenbrok, his sisters, Carla Ewell of Indianapolis, Indiana and Susan Mehas of Naples, Florida, a brother, Paul Piepenbrok of Prosper, Texas, five grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
</p>

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Alive Church in Vinita at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Robert Sanders will officiate.
