Mary Lynn LaRosa

INDIANAPOLIS

Mary Lynn LaRosa, longtime resident of Indianapolis, died on March 28, 2021 at the age of 71 after a long battle with cancer.

She graduated from Ladywood High School in 1967, where she played guitar in a musical group The Four Chords.

Following high school, she graduated from Indiana University at Indianapolis in 1996, and obtained her master’s degree in forensic psychology in 2011 from Walden University.

Mary Lynn worked for US Airways as a ticketing agent for 30 years. She was also the owner of Southpoint Group, LLC.

Throughout her life she was an avid supporter of "Save the Whales" foundations and adopted several whales through said organizations. She was especially fond of humpback whales of the Atlantic East coast and orcas at the Pacific Northwest.

She loved college football and was an enthusiastic fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Mary Lynn is predeceased by her mother, Esther C. LaRosa, father, John M. LaRosa, and brother, Joseph J. LaRosa. She is survived by her niece, Christina LaRosa, nephew, Jake LaRosa, three great nephews, one great niece, and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, where her memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at 335 S. Meridian Street, Greenwood, IN 46143. Cremation arrangements provided by Neptune Society of Indianapolis.
