Lee E. "Mike" Kehl, 74 of Bargersville, Indiana parted this world on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Mike was born on September 20, 1946 to the late Donald Martin Kehl Sr. and Mildred (Langan) Kehl.

Mike was a musician all his young adult life. Touring with Bobby Helms in the mid-70s. He played with several different bands throughout the 70s and 80s.

On July 5, 1994 joining the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department was his greatest achievement. Dorn Miller told Mike that he liked the way he handled people. He enjoyed his work and he later retired from Princes Lakes Community.

Getting to know the Blues community throughout his last years he met many good people. Sitting in on the drums, the musicians nicknamed him the Shuffle King. They would say that he had the best shuffle beat around.
