GREENWOOD
Theodore "Joe" Pennycuff, 81, of Greenwood, passed away on April 15, 2021. He was born on October 4, 1939 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Walter Pennycuff and Thelma Dewey.
Joe served for 8 years in the 1st Battalion 7th Marines.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood. Joe enjoyed reading and golfing. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Joe is survived by his wife, Iva L. Pennycuff; daughter, Beth (Ron) Meyers; son, Bryan (Diane) Pennycuff; daughter-in-law, Cherrie Pennycuff; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by son, Randy Pennycuff; 4 sisters; and 1 brother.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
Arrangements have been entrusted to G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch.
Joe will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Of Greenwood or Mooresville Christian Academy.
