Henry Cunningham

BARGERSVILLE, IN.

Henry Cunningham, 90, of Bargersville, Indiana went to be with the Lord on the 18th of April, 2021. Henry was born on the 4th of July in 1930 to the late Michael and Clara (Haertsch) Cunningham in Ashland, Pennsylvania. He was proceeded in death by siblings Michael Cunningham, Elizabeth Hicks, Vincent Cunningham, Clara M. Devine, John Cunningham, and H. Dorothy Krynitsky.

Henry was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He was an avid golfer and retired from Allison’s Transmission. He loved his country drives, golf, and fall festivals. He loved his family most of all and attended many trips and sporting events with them.

Henry had been married to Lucy (Mullis) Noblitt and they had 6 children together; Michael (Jeni) Cunningham of Woodlawn, TN, Malinda (John) O’Rourke of Greenwood, IN, Patrick Cunningham of Bargersville, preceded in death by her father Jeannie Cunningham in 1967, Jill Cunningham of Greenwood, IN, and Patricia Cunningham of Greenwood, IN.

Also surviving are his five grandchildren, Mindy (Michael) Parr of Clarksville, TN, Derek (Petra) Sutton of Carmel, IN, Cassie (Brad) Osborne of Greenwood, IN, Megan Keyt of Clarksville, TN, and Melissa Cunningham of Long Creek, SC., his seven great grandchildren, Brooklyn Parr, Grace Keyt, Caden Parr, Luke Osborne, Noah Keyt, Jaime Sutton, and Amanda Sutton.

Pastor Jennifer Lewis will conduct a service on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at <a href="http://www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/henry-cunningham">www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/henry-cunningham</a>. Friends may call Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 11AM till service time at the mortuary. Facial covering or masks and social distancing is requested for those attending. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with military honors by the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard.
