Chamber association names five members
The Franklin Chamber of Commerce welcomed five businesses to its membership in March.

Training for business leaders available
Express Employment Professionals of Greenwood is hosting the 2016 Refresh Leadership Live Simulcast, a nationwide leadership training conference that will be broadcast in the United States and Canada.
The event will feature executive coach Marshall Goldsmith, TV sports analyst and NBA All-Star Shaquille O’Neal and career consultant Kaplan Mobray.
The event will emphasize improving leadership at companies and organizations and offer tips on how to communicate and inspire employees.
The event will be simulcast April 13 at the Indiana Historical Society in downtown Indianapolis. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m. and the simulcast will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Manager awarded top company honor
McDonald’s Trafalgar restaurant manager Linda Ball was recently recognized as a 2015 Outstanding Restaurant Manager by the company.
Restaurant managers who have been selected to receive this award are among the top restaurant managers in the country and have demonstrated consistent outstanding performance.
The award is given to restaurant managers who work hard to improve customers’ restaurant experiences through improved service, product quality and other aspects of restaurant management.
Youth sports group receives donation
Greater Whiteland Baseball Association was recently given $10,000 in a league sponsorship donation from Ray Skillman Alia Romeo Fiat South in New Whiteland.
Mark Galyan, a Ray Skillman general manager, presented the association with the donation at a recent ceremony.
The money will be used to buy new protective equipment and brick dust and field and concession stand maintenance.
