RaeLynn’s Boutique in Greenwood will host a Shop for a Cause event Thursday to benefit a local woman who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Nicole Osborne of Franklin Township was diagnosed in April with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and has started chemotherapy, which will be followed by a mastectomy.
In addition, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, the store will host a celebration to honor her and raise funds. Mallow Run Winery will join the store for the event to offer complimentary wine tasting, and desserts also will be available. Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza in Greenwood will donate pizzas for the evening.
Osborne has published a children’s book, which will be available for purchase at RaeLynn’s, and all proceeds will help with medical expenses. Other local businesses and artists such as Imy’s Joy, have donated items that will be auctioned off during the event Thursday.
The boutique is at 455 Greenwood Park S. Dr. Suite E, Greenwood.
