At least four vehicles were rummaged through in a Franklin neighborhood.
Residents in Simon Farms, off U.S. 31, reported their vehicles had been gone through overnight Saturday.
The thief or thieves took spare change, shoes and cigarettes from inside the vehicles, according to the police report.
Three vehicles were parked along Harvest Ridge Circle.
Another resident on a nearby road may have caught the thief or thieves on video going through a vehicle, the report said.
Franklin police are investigating.
