Kathleen Cochran

FRANKLIN

Kathleen Cochran, 85, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016, in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.

She was born Dec. 13, 1930, in Liberty, Kentucky, to Earnest and Mary (McFarland) Griffith.

She married T.C. Cochran on Feb. 14, 1946. He preceded her in passing in January 2004.

Survivors include one son, Herlin (Carmen) Cochran of Whiteland, and one daughter, Harleen Cochran of Nineveh; five grandchildren, Marty (Rachel) Cochran, Bellame (Dave) Ferrell, Dawn (Nick) Owens, Rusty Cochran and Anna Petro; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by her husband, T.C.; and daughter, LuAnn Cochran.

Kathleen worked in a sewing factory. She made uniforms for the movie, “Hoosiers.”

A celebration of Kathleen’s life will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
