Help available for those grieving during holidays

Residents who have lost loved ones or been through a life-changing event causing them to dread the holidays can find support at a seminar at the Franklin United Methodist Community.All are welcome to the free event, which will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 16 at Franklin United Methodist Community Center, 1070 W. Jefferson St., Franklin.

The event is cohosted by Americare Hospice.

Heart center offers classes on cardiovascular health

Franciscan Health Heart Center is offering free classes focused on cardiovascular health and wellness in November.The local event is “Savvy Shopping” at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Greenwood Meijer, 150 Marlin Drive.
