Church hosting Marine
Fair Haven Christian Church, 1476 W. County Road 300 South, Franklin, will host guest speaker former Marine Cpl. Josh Bleill at 6 p.m. Nov. 13.
Bleill will deliver an inspirational talk about his life story.

Church putting on musical
Our Lady of the Greenwood Church, 335 S. Meridian St., Greenwood, will present “Sing Down the Moon, an Appalachian Wonder Tale” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 to 19.
The musical set in the Appalachian Mountains weaves six traditional tales of mountain lore and wisdom appropriate for the whole family.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children (11 and under) and are available at the door and at thelittleboxoffice.com/agape.
Get good eats at church event
Greenwood United Methodist Church, 525 N.Madison Ave., will offer the church’s annual Santa’s cookies and gifts event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 3.
Homemade cookies will be available for $5/lb, as well as cheese balls, sweet breads, fudge and more.
There will also be crafts, toys and books for kids.
Vendor tables are available.
