GREENWOOD
Beverly Ann Abraham, 85, of Greenwood, passed away after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016.
She was born on Oct. 17, 1931, in Beech Grove, to the late Cleo and Lavina Lyons Potts.
She was retired from IUPUI, SPEA after many years of service.
She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Ann Abraham, son, John W. (Jan) Abraham; son-in-law, Timothy J. (Debbie) Winings; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her daughter, Dr. Denise Winings.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
