NEW WHITELAND
Steven Edward Stroot, 49, of New Whiteland, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016.
Steve was born on Feb. 10, 1967, in Indianapolis, to the late William E. Stroot and Veda A. Otterman.
He worked for YRC Freight (The Original LTL Carrier) for 18 years as a truck driver.
Steve is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dawn M. Stroot; daughter, Courtney (Adam) Barnes, son, Cory Stroot; sister, Susie M. Stroot Spears (Darrell); and two grandchildren, Jase and Bailey Barnes.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory – Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main St., with calling from 11 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
