GREENWOOD
George M. Adams, 64, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016.
He was born June 16, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph and Leona (Pekarik) Adams.
George was a successful sales manager in a career that spanned over four decades.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Patricia A. Adams; children, George M. Adams Jr. (Meredith), Mark Adams (Joann) and Angela Chapuran (Michael); siblings, Carol Rapp, Pat Diamond, Catherine Diamond, Michael Adams and Jim Adams;
He was preceded in death by brother Joseph; and grandson, George Mathew Adams III.
George cherished time spent with family and loved spending time with his grandchildren, Noah, Caroline, Autumn and William.
He was an enthusiastic fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
George will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at G.H. Herman Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. at Saint Francis and Clare Catholic Church, 5901 Olive Branch Road, Greenwood, IN 46143.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Harvest Food Pantry at Saints Francis and Clare.
