Lila Jane (Sutton) Garnett, 70, from Smith Valley (Greenwood), passed away on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 in Birmingham, Alabama.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Garnett; her children, Jamie Twyman Boshears (Bruce), Jana Twyman Cloud, and Jennifer Garnett Mahaffey (Justin); grandchildren, Joshua Brown (Renée), Christina Aldridge Wade (Steven), Jennifer DePriest (Joshua), Allison Emberton (Kaylee), Jamie Cloud, and Jordan Mahaffey; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Brown, Steven, Sophia and Silas Wade; and her brother, Melville Sutton (Betty).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Irene (Bogard) Sutton and a brother, Eugene Sutton (Margerie).
Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Smith Valley Baptist Church, located at 4682 W. Smith Valley Road, Greenwood.
