Bank branch names new manager of operations

Lake City Bank recently announced that Joseph P. Waltermann will manage the bank’s Greenwood office, which is scheduled to open this winter, and will serve as an investment representative for Lake City Investments.Waltermann, who is vice president and office manager, will lead sales and service efforts in the branch, manage the daily operations of the office and handle small business loans.

He has 23 years of banking experience, all of which have been in the Greenwood community.

Waltermann has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Johnson County. He is a board member for the Johnson County Community Foundation and Johnson County Habitat for Humanity.

Doctor awarded ‘Healing Hands’ designation

Dr. Sanjay S. Vyas has been selected as the latest recipient of the Healing Hands Award, presented quarterly by Franciscan Health.Vyas received the award at his office at Indiana Internal Medicine Consultants. Board-certified in family medicine, he has been in practice with the group since 2007.

Several patients nominated Dr. Vyas for the Healing Hands Award.

A Greenwood resident, he received his undergraduate degree in chemistry at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Practitioners, Indiana Osteopathic Association and American College of Physician Executives.

Farm Bureau names new public relations director

Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance has announced that Suzanne Henderson has been promoted to director of public relations and communications.Henderson, a lifelong resident of Johnson County, brings 14 years of experience in communications, nine of which with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance. She has a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a master of science in management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

She serves on the board of the Mutual Insurance Companies Association of Indiana. She and her husband, Justin, reside in Bargersville with their daughter McKenna and son Brooks.

Area resident named chief investment officer

Timothy E. Voegele has joined the Greenwood firm of Treybourne Wealth Planners as chief investment officer.Voegele previously founded and was president of Acuity Financial Advisors in Greenwood.

Before starting his career in wealth planning and investment management, he served in engineering, manufacturing and finance roles with Eli Lilly and Co. for more than 30 years.

A graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, he also earned his MBA in finance from Indiana University.

He was president of the CFA Society of Indianapolis from 2014 to 2015 and serves on the professional organization’s board of directors. Voegele is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and CFA Institute.

Locally, he has served as president of the Center Grove Trojan Band Boosters from 2004 to 2005 and recently as treasurer of Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Greenwood.

He lives in the Center Grove area with his wife, Carol.
