Dinner is served at local Isom Chili Supper

Families can grab a bowl of chili for dinner at a local school’s chili supper.

Isom Elementary School, 50 E. Broadway St., Greenwood will have a chili supper on Wednesday.

Principal Sandy Wooton tells you what you need to know.

When does the supper start?

(Chili) service starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 6:45 p.m. At 6:45 p.m. the Honor Choir and 84 kindergarten students will perform holiday songs.

What is the menu?

Chili and choice of hot dog or grilled cheese. The meals also includes pickle, cookie, lemonade or water.

Where does the money raised go?

It is a fundraiser for the PTO to support teacher and student classroom needs.

How many people are you expecting?

We will have approximately 300 individuals attend the event. Many will come for the chili and not attend the program.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under the age of 12.
