Juveniles arrested in theft spree

Two teenagers have been arrested in a string of thefts from vehicles and lawns in a Franklin neighborhood. CONFIRM.

A Heritage subdivision resident reported on Wednesday that someone had taken his LED projection light from his front yard on Dec. 29, a Franklin police report said.

A neighbor told police that his Christmas projection light was also taken from his yard between Dec. 30 and Sunday.

Another resident in Heritage subdivision reported on Tuesday that a car had been broken into and a video game system, wallet and garage door opener were taken, a police report said.

Golf clubs and towels, a pocket knife and home and car keys were taken from a vehicle parked on a nearby street, another report said.

The mother of one of the teens called police on Tuesday afternoon after her 13-year-old son told her that he and some friends had broken into two cars.
