How much does it cost to get in?

This is a free event for the community to share our love of diversity here at Clark Pleasant.

What will be featured?

We have students involved in the event from 13 different countries spread out among Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. To begin the program, we will have our LGI filled with displays, snacks, and some crafts from the various countries. Afterwards, there will be a show in our auditorium where students will present dances, fashion, their country’s flags, and music. From there, we will have food from many of the countries in the cafeteria along with a DJ and dancing afterwards. It is such a fun event to experience.

How much planning goes into the fair?

As teachers, Brandi Vozos-Robards and I are so proud of how much energy and enthusiasm our students put into this event. They started planning during the fall, they stay after school multiple days a week, and they continue to think of new ideas to make each year’s festival even better.

How many people typically attend?

We typically have around 100 who attend, but we always encourage everyone to bring their families and friends for a fun evening of global entertainment.

What do you want students to get from the fair?

Our goal for the students involved is to be able to share their love of their home country with the community. Some have recently moved to the United States while some have been here for many years. It is my hope that this event gives them pride and confidence.
