Mr. and Mrs. Vernie C. “Andy” and Barbara Andrews of Franklin are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Andrews and his wife, the former Barbara Dorsey, were married June 4, 1952, at Calvary Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
He is retired from Regan Bakery after 24 years and from Greenwood United Methodist Church, where he worked for 12 years.
She is retired from State Farm Insurance after 18 years of service.
They have three children, Steve (Brenda) Andrews, Linda (Vic) Hughes, both of Greenwood and Debbie (Darrell) Evans of Illinois; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
