Shirley and Jess Shively of Franklin observed their 60th wedding anniversary on June 9.
Shirley Fields and Jess Shively were married on June 9, 1957, at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Grass Creek.
She is retired from the Campus Life/Youth For Christ Office in Terre Haute.
He retired in 1996 after 29 years with the Animal Health Research Department of Pfizer Inc. in Terre Haute and Groton, Connecticut.
They have three children, Karen (Brad) Spangler of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Kent (Trisha) Shively of Kokomo and Kevin Shively of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
