Stanley and Frieda Lucas of Franklin, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Lucas and his wife, the former Frieda A. Brockman, were married on June 8, 1952, in Johnson County.
He is retired after 40 years of service in the U.S. Airforce.
She is also retired.
They have three children, Donna Rund of Whiteland, Kevin Lucas of Greensboro, North Carolina and Brian Lucas of Franklin. They are the grandparents of eight grandchildren and great-grandparents of 10 great-grandchildren.
