Josephine (Nickle) Hester, 93, of Franklin, passed away August 16, 2017.
She was the co-owner of Hester Farms.
Josephine was a member of Second Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
She is survived by her granddaughters, Erica (Chris) Schutt, Erin Hardebeck and Emily Hester; great-grandchildren, Jace, Reis Hardebeck and Carter, Malik and Ripley Schutt.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dale Hester; a son, Michael W. Hester; and her parents, Frank and Hattie (Taylor) Nickle.
A private graveside service will be held at the Second Mount Pleasant Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care-Franklin.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
