A Nineveh man was killed in an accident on Monday morning.
Just after 6 a.m., emergency workers were called to an accident on Nineveh Road, just south of State Road 252. A vehicle was overturned in a ditch on the west side of the road.
The driver, Randall R. Albertson, 51, was ejected from the vehicle and found about 30 yards away, according to a news release from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Albertson had been driving north on Nineveh Road, crossed the center line, went off the road and his vehicle flipped, the release said.
A medical helicopter was called to the scene, but Albertson died before being transported, the release said.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the accident.
