The comedy club has been closed for 10 years, but Oaken Barrel has remained at the commercial center near Emerson Avenue. Slowly, the center fell into disrepair while the restaurant has remained well-known and popular.
The Oaken Barrel Brewing Co. owner jumped at the chance to infuse energy into the property and help bring it back to life.
