Trojans win at Providence
Paced by a round of 70 from medalist Sam Jean, No. 1 Center Grove finished first in the 16-team field at the Providence Invite on Saturday. The Trojans finished with a team score of 291.
Shepherd in 23rd at Thunderbird
After struggling to an opening-round 80 on Saturday, Erica Shepherd came back with a 1-under-par 71 Sunday in the Thunderbird International Junior at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Shepherd currently sits in 23rd place entering today’s final round, 12 shots behind leader Yuka Saso.
