A Franklin man was threatened with a knife after he found someone sitting in his truck early Friday morning.
A resident in the 1000 block of Creekwood Lane reported to police that he let his dog out around 3:45 a.m., and found a man sitting in the driver’s seat of his truck, according to the Franklin Police Department report.
The man inside the resident’s truck got out and approached him, carrying a knife. The man told the resident not to move, and the resident’s dog began barking. The man ran, and the resident’s dog chased him until the man got away, the report said.
The resident found a bike in the area that he didn’t recognize, which police collected as evidence, the report said.
Nothing was missing from the man’s truck.
