Franklin swimmers compete at nationals
Franklin Regional Swim Team members Jacob Destrampe and Cade Oliver were back in action at the Speedo Junior Nationals on Friday.
Destrampe finished 34th in the 200-meter freestyle preliminaries, touching the wall with a time of 1 minute, 53.83 seconds. Oliver was 69th in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 59.29 seconds.
Destrampe, Oliver and Carla Gildersleeve will all be competing on the final day of the meet today.

Warriors tie for first in three-way
Bri Harwell earned medalist honors with a round of 40, helping Whiteland manage a first-place tie with Greenfield-Central in a three-way match with Columbus East on Thursday.
The Warriors, who also got a 47 from Allie Watson, finished with a total of 198, five shots ahead of the third-place Olympians.
