Boys tennis

Braves handle Lancers

Indian Creek got its first win of the season with a 4-1 triumph over Edinburgh on Thursday. Cass Mitchell and Jaden Schrougham picked up points at second and third singles, respectively, while the Braves got a win at No. 1 doubles from Cody Hart and Mitchell Walls.

Coltan Henderson picked up the lone point for the Lancers with a victory at No. 1 singles.

Warriors remain unbeaten

Whiteland stayed perfect on the year with a 4-1 win over Perry Meridian on Thursday.

Corey Ullrich and Dylan Gross earned the No. 2 and 3 singles points for the Warriors (5-0, 4-0 Mid-State). Lane Stephenson and Garrison Pelfree won at first doubles, while Travis Robinson and Wesley Hawk did the same at No. 2.

Girls golf

Woodmen split three-way

Greenwood lost to Hamilton Southeastern but defeated Roncalli on Thursday at Smock Golf Course. Maura Guilfoy paced the Woodmen with a 44, followed by Maecee Terhune’s 45. Maeci West and Laila Stein each shot a 46.

Volleyball

Rebels sweep Bull Dogs

Roncalli defeated Columbus North on Thursday, 25-9, 25-20, 25-18. Taylor Kehoe had 10 digs for the Rebels and Betsy Crosley added four kills.
