Hearts

Many thanks to the Johnson County Public Library for bringing some wonderful authors and poets to our area this year.

Hearts to Hoosier Cupboard Snacks and Ice Cream. I work with people who have disabilities and often look for places in the community where they can practice skills such as purchasing items, interacting socially, etc. Hoosier Cupboard Candy, Snacks and Ice Cream ALWAYS treats every customer with patience, friendliness and a smile. When it sometimes takes people with disabilities extra time to make choices, financial exchanges, etc., they are always patient and let us know we are welcome customers. Thank you for showing your heart and compassion toward others. And, besides, their ice cream is really good!

Many thanks to David Eden, athletic director at Clark Pleasant Schools, for his kindness in providing a golf cart transport from parking lot to the bleachers to watch an eighth grade football game. It was much appreciated. He is an excellent example of community outreach and caring.

Thanks to Carolyn Imel of Compass Park for your help with our disabled car because of a dead battery. We appreciate your willingness to help us and we will pay it forward.

Dart

Darts to Franklin Parks and Rec for allowing a concrete building in Morgan Park to fall into disrepair. The roof has had a hole in it for years, and each year it gets bigger. Eventually the roof will collapse. The city should either repair the roof or tear the building down.
