Loren F. Puck, 81, passed away December 11, 2018 at Greenwood Health and Living Center. He was born May 16, 1937 to the late Arthur and Hermina Puck in Davenport, Iowa.

He graduated from Davenport High School and served in the U.S. Army from October 1955 to October 1958. He married Beverly Ann Holdorf in 1959.

Loren started his work career with E. W. Bliss, Moline, Illinois. In 1967 he transferred to Georgetown, Ontario, Canada. In 1973 he was hired by George Endress, company founder of Endress and Hauser, to lead the U.S. division located in Boston, Massachusetts at the time. He moved the company to Greenwood, IN where he started with 8 employees and grew it into a company with over 500. He retired in 2002.

Golf was his favorite activity, and he was a member of Dye’s Walk Golf Club for 40 years. He also participated in the Indiana State PGA Seniors Golf for 10 years and was an officer including president. He was a member of the Greenwood Redevelopment Committee, where he was also an officer and president.

Loren was a member of New Hope Church, Greenwood, IN. and a member of the Masonic Wilton Lodge No. 167 A.F. and A.M. in Wilton Junction, Iowa. He is survived by wife, Beverly, and son Scott (Stacey), Greenwood, and two grandchildren, Isabel and Ethan, Greenwood. Also survived by brother, Dennis Puck (Karen), Walcott, Iowa, Jim Puck (Joan), DeWitt, Iowa, and sister Susan Hodel, Mt. Dora, Florida, and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Virgil and Lugene.

A celebration of life honoring Loren will be January 12th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Dye’s Walk Country Club. 2080 S. St. Rd. 135. Greenwood, IN. Arrangements handled by Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory.
