A Johnson County sheriff’s deputy stopped the vehicle while heading south on State Road 37 near Stones Crossing Road in Greenwood at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday.

Hankins’ driver’s license was suspended and he was wanted to face a criminal charge in Florida, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s office.

Hankins was arrested. A deputy searched his vehicle and found a digital scale, two syringes, more than five grams of methamphetamine and five pills, the report said.
