Percussion groups from four local high schools snagged top-10 finishes at the state finals.
The indoor percussion ensemble from Whiteland Community High School placed sixth in concert open class at the 2019 Indiana Percussion Association State Finals at Ben Davis High School.
Greenwood also placed sixth in the percussion scholastic A class. Center Grove High School’s percussion team snagged third place in the scholastic world class.
Franklin’s indoor percussion team placed 10th in the same class as Greenwood, which was a one spot improvement from their state preliminaries performance placement and a five spot improvement from their state finals showing last year, according to a news release from the school.
