Real estate agent presented with RE/MAX Hall of Fame award

Fred Imhausen, with the Greenwood office of RE/MAX Results, has recently been presented with the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award, which honors agents who have closed more than $35 million in sales volume.

Imhausen has been a licensed real estate agent for thirty-two years and has experience in residential property sales, accelerated marketing by auctions, and investment properties.

OrthoIndy opens new 6,913

square-foot clinic in Center Grove

Center Grove residents now have another clinic to choose from, as Indianapolis-based hospital OrthoIndy has opened its newest facility in White River Township.

The new 6,913 square-foot clinic, located at 1579 Olive Branch Parke Lane, had been under construction since last November, OrthoIndy spokesperson Ashley McGovern said in July.

The facility has 10 exam rooms and offers digital imaging. Patients needing emergency medical treatment can use the clinic’s urgent care for bone, joint and muscle services. Patients can also undergo physical therapy for post-operative rehabilitation, treatment of sports injuries, spinal stabilization and more at the new location.

A new Memory Care Community sets grand opening event

The staff of Grand Brook invites the community to visit and tour during the Grand Opening event from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 5. with food, drinks and entertainment.

Grand Brook Memory Care of Greenwood is a memory care, with staff and resources to serve those living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other memory care challenges. A specialized staff will care for residents 24-hours a day in a brand-new home designed and decorated to provide peace and sanctuary to residents.

Bracelet sales to provide support for cancer patients, their families

Franciscan Health and Bubba’s 33 restaurant partnership to help raise fund to support cancer patients and their families by selling $1 bracelets with “Stomp Out Breast Cancer” imprinted on them. Together they raise $3,720 which will be converted into restaurant gift cards, bearing the Franciscan Health and Bubba 33’s logos.

The cards will be distributed among patients and their families served at the Cancer Center over the next year.

American Senior Communities honors employees for their service

Spencer Lawson, at Greenwood Meadows, was among the 86 employees of American Senior Communities honored for their service to patients and residents. The employees were recognized during American Senior Communities 19th Annual Quest for Excellence Awards Banquet.

Honorees included clinical staff, therapists and culinary staff, as well as business office, housekeeping and maintenance team members.

American Senior Communities provides a variety of services, including rehabilitation, memory care, nursing care, long term care, respite and hospice care, and living centers.
