This monthly gathering of free-spirited music lovers get together to play “front porch” music — that is, loose, jammy playing of all kinds of styles. Acoustic musicians will play, sing and listen to folk, gospel country and more.

Wild Geese Bookshop is offering local readers the chance to meet two emerging authors live.

Ibanez’s newest book is “Woven in Moonlight,” a tale of magic, romance and revolution drawing heavily from Bolivian politics and history. Mahurin’s debut novel, “Serpent & Dove,” is a fantasy novel revolving around witches, ritual and romance. A book signing will follow the discussion.

Tickets are broken down in three levels. The $10 ticket includes admission only. The $20 ticket includes admission and a copy of “Woven In Moonlight,” while the $35 book bundle option includes admission, a copy of “Woven In Moonlight” and a copy of “Serpent & Dove” in a reusable tote.
