FRANKLIN
Marilyn J. (Cruea) Harmon 91 of Franklin, IN passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community. She was born May 15, 1928 in Eaton, IN to Irvin and Vula Wanda (Wood) Cruea. She married Raymond W. Harmon on July 13, 1947 in Eaton, IN he survives.
She was a 1946 graduate of Eaton High School. She had been a sales associate and customer service representative for L.S. Ayers and Company at the Glendale Mall in Indianapolis for ten years. She previously had worked for Franklin Securities in Muncie for five years.
She was a member of North United Methodist Church in Indianapolis where she was a member of the church choir. She volunteered for Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community and Community Hospital medical records.
Survivors include her husband Raymond W. Harmon of Franklin, IN, two daughters Kathy A. Chulchian (Charles) of Franklin, IN and Cynthia K. Musgrave (James) of Sellersburg, IN, three grandchildren Nicholas Harlow of Franklin, IN, Jennifer Musgrave of Aurora, IN and Christina Swaby (Mark) of Houston, TX, two great grandchildren Graham Swaby and Claire Swaby. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Dane Allen Cruea.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, Pastor Diane Gattone will conduct a private family service on Sunday, May 17, 2020 and will be live-streamed at 3 p.m. where friends can connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/marilyn-harmon.
A family graveside service will be conducted on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Union Cemetery in Eaton, IN. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
