GREENWOOD, INDIANA
Earnest G. Blackwell, 83, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Earnest was born on August 21, 1936 in Anniston, Missouri to the late Lester Blackwell and Mamie (Peace) Blackwell.
Earnest was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a United States Army Veteran. He worked for Witco Richardson Conner Corporation for 38 years in maintenance, up to his retirement in 1994.He loved going fishing and working on cars.
Earnest was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Margaret Darling.
Earnest is survived by his children, Earnest G.(Cynthia)Blackwell Jr., of Trafalgar, Marta C. Hall, of Indianapolis, Andrew G. (Olivia) Blackwell, of Indianapolis, Patricia A. (David) Morgan, of, Whiteland; his sister, Phyllis (Jim) Strong, of Coatsville; brother, Jerry Blackwell, of Greenwood; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren;many loved ones and friends.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Whiteland Chapel.
