Roger D. Coy, 62 of Nineveh, Indiana passed away June 24, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born June 22, 1958 in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of Harold L. and Ethel May (Blanford) Coy.
He married Sheila (Dormer) Coy, December 1992 and she survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Stephanie Coy of Orlando, Florida, brother, Douglas E. Coy of Columbus, Indiana, nephews, Ryan Coy, John McKee, Brian Murphy, and Mike Murphy, and nieces, Nicole Wilson, Courtney Dormer, and Jennifer Murphy, several beloved great nephews and great nieces, sisters-in-laws, Sherrie Coy and Sharon Kay Dormer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harold Lee Coy, and sister, Mary Alice Coy Murphy.
Roger leaves many friends behind at Premium Composite in Franklin where he was employed. He enjoyed 70’s music, fishing, boating, animals, golf, building a lighthouse, and Christmas lights.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2020 by Reverend Doug Brown at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00. Burial will be at a later date. In his honor please play a 1970’s song.
