INDIANAPOLIS
Steven B. Johnson, 56 of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Edinburgh, passed away August 14, 2020 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born July 25, 1964 in Franklin, Indiana. He was the son of William T. “Mousie” and Callie (McGaha) Johnson. He married Ginger L. (Means) Johnson March 15, 1990 and she survives. He is also survived by his sons, Nicholas Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Andrew Johnson of Greenfield, Indiana, Noah Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Ethan Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana, daughters, Caitlin Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Kayla Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana, one grandson, brothers, Mark Murray of Columbus, Indiana, Robert Hardin of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Phillip Johnson of Greenfield, Indiana, and sister, Paula Jo Johnson of Mooresville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Starla Blaze Johnson, brothers, Don Murray, John Murray, and Mike Murray, and sister, Mary Sue Knight.
Steven was a former member of the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle. He was formerly employed by Krogers. He was an avid reader, house flipper, and pet lover.
A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Mark Myers and Darren Burton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle in Edinburgh, Indiana. Call will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
