Celebrating The Life of a Wife, Mother, Mamaw and Friend

Laurie Frances Dickey, a small antique store owner and resident of Greenwood IN, passed away Sunday evening peacefully in the presence of her loved ones. She was born March 11th, 1966 in Franklin, IN. Laurie was passionate about her store, The Country Bow, but was also involved in various other sale positions throughout many other fields including medical.

Laurie is survived by her husband, Randy Dickey; her son, Colby (Ashley) Dickey; her daughter, Logan (Jose) Santos; Grandchildren, Reese Dickey and Julien Santos; her mother, Linda Greeson and several of her siblings.

Laurie was preceded in death by John (Frances) York and Norma June Dickey.

Laurie was a devoted wife, mother and adored her grandchildren. She loved her Reese Cup and Ju Ju Bear. She loved to travel and always treasured her honeymoon vacation to Old Town Quebec with her husband. She loved sunsets on the beaches of Florida and having the sand between her toes.

She will be greatly missed by all of her loved ones for many special reasons. Her mere presence was enough to put a smile on anyone’s face and always had the strongest shoulders to cry on. She always knew the right thing to say and could give you a glimmer of light on the darkest of days. She would love for her passing to be one of celebration for the glorious life she had.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana.
