FRANKLIN
David Russell Cosby, 73 of Franklin, Indiana, went home to be with his Lord, August 2020. David was born in Edinburgh, Indiana January 25, 1947. He was the son of Owen and Mary E. (Meredith) Cosby.
David is survived by his son, Matthew Cosby of Newark, Ohio, his brother, Kenneth (Vera) Meredith of Columbus, Indiana, and sisters, Sue (Johnny) Blanchard of Warsaw, North Carolina, Brenda Scott of Crossville, Tennessee, and Freda (Gene) Burton of Edinburgh, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Fulton Cosby, Newman Cosby, Winston Cosby, Omar Cosby, and Truman Cosby, and sisters, Wanda Fay Cosby, Alta Doyle, and Bertha V. Burton.
David served in the United States Air Force and was a graduate of Florida Beacon Bible College in Largo, Florida.
He enjoyed fishing and going to church.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a date yet to be determined.
