Local athletes sign with colleges

Several Franklin seniors signed their letters of intent Wednesday to compete at the collegiate level next year.

Four Grizzly Cub swimmers are headed for Division I schools — Cade Oliver (Missouri), Mac Ratzlaff (South Carolina), Kabria Chapman (Indiana) and Gracey Payne (Ball State).

A trio of golfers also signed — Damon Dickey (Butler), Ellie Beavins (Taylor) and Liv Parramore (Savannah College of Art & Design) — along with Cami Kelsay, who will play volleyball at Jacksonville.

Meanwhile, over at Whiteland, senior Bella Jackson signed her letter of intent to compete in track and field at Lipscomb.
