FRANKLIN, IN.
John T. Adams Jr. 80 of Franklin, IN passed away Friday November 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born May 29, 1940 in Gainesboro, TN to John T. Adams Sr. and Sara Sherrile (Mace) Adams. He married Ella S. (Hall) Adams on April 26, 1958 in Celina, TN, she survives. He had been a CDL truck driver for Edgcomb Metals in Indianapolis, IN for 25 years. After retirement, he had his wife Ella moved to Livingston, TN where enjoyed farming raising cattle and hay baling. He loved his farm, camping, water skiing, bowling, four wheeling and real country music and especially Johnny Cash. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Ella S. (Hall) Adams of Franklin, IN, three daughters Debbie Genaro (Tony) of Indianapolis, IN, Vicky Napaniu (Phil) of Fishers, IN and Donna Knotts (Gary) of Franklin, IN, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a sister Dolly Rich of Celina, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and eight sisters. Dr. Tim Driggers will conduct a service on Wednesday November 18, 2020 at 2:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/john-adams.
