Cougars ground Hawks
Five different players scored in double figures as Class A No. 5 Greenwood Christian made quick work of Decatur Central on Saturday afternoon, 70-34.
Izzy Reed paced the Cougars (3-0) with 20 points and 17 rebounds. Ellie Bigelow and Savvanah Frye scored 15 and 13, respectively, while Brooklyn Stubblefield and Dory O’Dell each contributed 10.
Braves topped by Trinity
Bailey Tabeling got 17 of her 31 points in the second half as Trinity Lutheran pulled away from Indian Creek, 64-51, on Saturday afternoon.
Emily Todor led a balanced scoring attack for the Braves with 11 points. She was followed by Kurstin Thompson with nine points and Emilee Scott and Savannah Hall with eight apiece.
