Woodmen take down Brebeuf
Greenwood picked up a home sweep of Brebeuf Jesuit on Thursday, with the boys taking a 108-68 win and the girls posting a 101-74 victory.
The Woodmen boys got two wins each from Conner Peckinpaugh (200 and 500 freestyle) and Joe Sheets (50 and 100 free), with additional first-place finishes from Ethen Barton (200 IM), Noah Chaplin (diving) and Luke Ellington (100 breaststroke).
For the girls, Grace Nuhfer (200 free, 100 fly), Alayna Kenworthy (200 IM, 100 free) and Madison Peckinpaugh (50 free, 100 breast) were all double winners, while Grace Taylor (diving), Hailey Peckinpaugh (500 free) and Naomi Weaver (100 back) collected victories as well.

Cougars beaten by Warriors
Class A No. 9 Greenwood Christian suffered an 87-63 home loss against Class 2A No. 8 Covenant Christian on Thursday. The Cougars (1-2) got 19 points from Styles McCorkle and 14 each from Cam Thomson and Isaiah Davis.
Girls basketball
Roncalli rolls into semifinals
Madelyn Bischoff scored 18 points and Sydney Horton added a career-high 15 as Roncalli coasted past Indianapolis Lutheran, 71-26, in a Marion County tournament quarterfinal on Thursday.
Roncalli (9-0) will host a semifinal game against Lawrence North at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Moore, Rodenberg earn state honors
Center Grove football coach was named the Class 6A Coach of the Year by the Indiana Football Coaches Association after leading the top-ranked Trojans to a perfect 14-0 season and a state championship.
Another state title winner, Roncalli coach John Rodenberg, was the award recipient in Class 4A.
