Martha Jean (Campbell) Teets, 90 passed away early Monday morning, December 21, 2020 at her residence at Morning Pointe in Franklin.

She was born on June 16, 1930 in Johnson County, Indiana, the daughter of Ward M. and Helen J. (Taylor) Campbell. She married the love of her life, Eddy Mac Teets on October 4, 1953 at Franklin First Baptist Church. They celebrated sixty-six years of marriage.

She is survived by their loving children, Stephen Alan (Sandy) Teets; Dr. Sheryl Denise (Dr. Michael) Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Deb Teets. Also surviving are grandchildren, Michelle (Matt) Steele, Christopher Teets, Jason Teets, Jessi (Ben) West, Kendra Johnson and April Johnson; step-grandchildren, Molly (Tom) Burton and Michelle (Kirk) Tucker and great-grandchild, Cal Scott West and step-great grandchildren, Kurtis Tucker, Jacob Bradford and Johnna (Justin)Fritch. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Eddy; son, Scott Teets and four brothers, William, Paul, Robert and Donald Campbell.

Martha was a graduate of Franklin High School and attended Franklin College where she was a member of Delta, Delta, Delta Sorority.

She had worked as a Clerk in Accounting for Farm Bureau Insurance and later was employed by Ticor Title Company for sixteen years.

Martha was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Franklin where she was a Sunday School Teacher and served on the Board of Education, Pastoral Relations and Hospitality committees. She was a member of Franklin American Legion Auxiliary #205; was a longtime volunteer at the food pantry and delivered for Meals on Wheels for several years. Martha enjoyed reading and walking.

A private family graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home are proudly serving the Teets Family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Martha to the Johnson County Good Cheer Fund, P.O. Box 237, Franklin, Indiana 46131 and/or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E. 91st Street, Ste. 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240.
