FRANKLIN, IN.

Clay Robert Fly 82, of Franklin, IN passed away Wednesday January 6, 2021 at Homeview Center of Franklin. He was born December 16, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN to Claude Edward Fly and Ruth Elizabeth (McDowell) Fly. He married Sue (VanDerMeulen) DeGolyer Fly on September 9, 2000 in Gatlinburg, TN, she survives. He was a United States Veteran of the U.S Navy, U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis as a millwright after 38 years of service. Survivors include his wife Sue (VanDerMeulen) DeGolyer Fly of Franklin, IN sons Matthew Fly (Anya) of Hickory Creek, TX, Andrew Fly (Dawn Foote) of Indianapolis, IN and Christopher Fly (Sherri) of Bremerton, WA, daughters Faith Fly of McCordsville, IN, Traci DeGolyer (Chris Seel) of Greenwood, IN and Melissa Calhoun (Jason) of Indianapolis, IN, a stepson Scott Wilson of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren Abigael Fly, Rebekah Fly, David Fly, Megan Fly, Lauren Fly, Tiffani Reagan, Ashlee Reagan, Bailey Dinkel, Junior Suarez, Savannah Calhoun, Alissa Spall, Grace Seel, great grandchildren Scarlett Fly, Sophi Spall and T.J. Elleman . He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Gary Robert Fly.
